Amanda Bossard net worth

The year 1992 was when Amanda Bossard began her studies in marine biology in Anchorage at Alaska Pacific University. Bossard started her commercial fishing career in 1999, after she started working aboard the ship F/V Sunset. The 65' schooner converted to a salmon tender was owned by Murat Aritan. The fisherman has been in commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard married Aritan in 1999, and the couple have teamed up to defend their businesses. Both are advocates conservation of sustainable, renewable seafood resources. Otolith launched its direct market wholesale distributor in Philadelphia when Bossard came back from her home in her home town with two daughters, Bella 3 years old and Andre 1, and Andre 1, to Philadelphia. The husband of the business has a lengthy career in the fishing industry, which often keeps them apart for a period of five or more months. It is during this time that they are focusing on their financial and environment goals. Bossard along with Isabella and Andre (ages 10 and 12 respectively) are back each year, from July to August and continue to Southeast Alaska for the summer harvest of wild salmon. Hooks and lines are used to capture their salmon before joining Aritan to sell to local processors for a period of two months. They then continue to expand their direct seafood product sale via Otolith Sustainable Seafood. Amanda Bossard, Anchor/MMJ of News 12 Brooklyn and News 12 Bronx has worked on these stations since November 2015. She loves to highlight the good things happening in the boroughs that she covers and share stories that make an impact.
